Beginning Quilting

When: Wednesdays, March 18, 25 and April 8, 15, 22
1:00-3:00 with Kathy
Dip your toe into this historic & traditional art with a beginner-friendly quilt top pattern. We will sew strips of fabric together & cut into blocks, assemble the blocks for the top, and put together the quilt "sandwich" (top, backing fabric & batting in between). To finish, we'll stitch or tie the layers together before attaching binding to the edges. You will have a choice to make a "throw" size (approximately 60" by 60") or a "baby" size (about 36" square).
Supplies not included. Please visit Ragtime prior to the day of class to purchase your fabric, thread, & batting as well as any sewing tools you might need. 10% discount for all supplies for classes.
